Gary Nava is a luthier working entirely on his own. He produces hand made guitars of
the highest quality, using skills originally learnt during the late 1970's at the
renowned London College of Furniture and honed over the subsequent years.
Acoustic guitars, both steel string and classical, are his speciality but commissions for other instruments, are equally welcome. For example, Gary is currently working on a Baritone guitar and a Mandocello and their progress can be followed and his blog.
Each guitar is made over a period of time, allowing the wood to rest between stages of
construction. Fine woods are used throughout, carefully chosen for their tonal and
aesthetic qualities. Each guitar is made entirely by hand with each instrument taking hundreds of hours to construct. Throughout each stage of construction, attention is
paid to the smallest detail, giving you the guitar of your dreams.
