MODEL ONE STEEL STRING GUITAR

These guitars are built to my 'model one' shape. For me, it is the perfect shape: combining elegant jumbo style curves with an OM size body.

The 635mm (25) scale length makes this a very easy guitar to play. However, if you are a player who uses alternative tunings, this guitar can also be built with a 650mm scale length. This gives more tension in the strings thus accommodating being tuned down.

As with all of my guitars, these are built to the highest standard from fine tonewoods. The standard guitar is constructed with a Claro Walnut body, Western Red Cedar top, Mahogany neck with maple and walnut laminations, Ebony fingerboard and bridge. The left-handed cutaway is constructed with an Indian rosewood body, Engelmann spruce top and exotic Snakewood and Paua shell is used extensively throughout.
